Given a free kick in a difficult position after 35 minutes, LargAbola tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. After 37 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by A. Moreno Diez might have resulted in another goal for LargAbola. However, P. Burnos made a spectacular save. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by LargAbola, with 62 percent of the ball.

58 minutes into the game, LargAbola seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of LargAbola to 2 - 0 as A. Moreno Diez finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. 86 minutes in, LargAbola appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. T. Barroso should probably have put his team up another goal after 88 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by P. Burnos kept the visitors in the game. After 89 minutes LargAbola's A. Moreno Diez limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. LargAbola put in a good effort on the right, but R. Temple saw his volley fly wide of the mark 89 minutes into the game. LargAbola enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Most important LargAbola player was W. Kops. However, A. Abălaşei made a disastrous appearance. Coibeira's best player was O. Van Droogenbroeck. M. Dumont turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 0.
