The crowd of 21709 turning up at
Estádio Eira Pedrinha today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain.
Danny Ruding was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Vassil Vúlkov and
Ferdinand Strolz.
Coibeira tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Starters: Burnos - Barrera, De Simone, Seebauer - Van Droogenbroeck, Batley, Stutzmann, Te Moni, 冠雄 (Guanxiong) - Flóventsson, Cvijetinović.
Rossio had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.

Coibeira mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle.
Coibeira players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
Making his way up the middle 7 minutes into the match,
O. Van Droogenbroeck almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
E. Ribeiro Conceição blocked it to keep the score level.
After 11 minutes of play,
R. Seebauer gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right.
H. Dias Gonçalves did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.

E. De Simone could have increased the lead after 49 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
V. Teixeira was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions.

60 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
E. De Simone broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Coibeira.
B. Te Moni's lack of experience almost gave Rossio a goal after 68 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms.
The home side's
O. Barrera came close to extending the lead 74 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but
E. Ribeiro Conceição managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop.
With 75 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Rossio resulted in a counterattack that set
H. Dias Gonçalves free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save.
Cheers filled the stadium as
彭. 冠雄 (Guanxiong) broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to Coibeira.
Coibeira managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when
G. Flóventsson cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
After this, you could see that the players of Coibeira were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
Coibeira enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 90 percent of possession.
O. Van Droogenbroeck performed admirably for Coibeira.
However,
D. Cvijetinović made a disastrous appearance.

On the other hand,

The match ends 5 - 0.
