Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by mancos, with 56 percent of the ball.

mancos were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. mancos put in a good effort on the right, but S. Vermeylen saw his volley fly wide of the mark 64 minutes into the game. With 65 minutes played, mancos's A. Răileanu almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. After 67 minutes, U. Fasoli replied with a fantastic free kick and the ball went in off the bar. 3 - 2. The bench was restless, and with 75 minutes passed Giesteira's coach gave C. Wergin the opportunity the player had been hoping for. B. Carvalho reluctantly left the field. Possession in this half belonged to mancos, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.
