The intense heat forced A. Cruz into making some errors because he couldn't seem to keep up with the others. Leitões came close to extending their lead as F. Dumas delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 68 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. C. Czucha of Leitões received a yellow card after 72 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 76 minutes, O. Trejos's penalty kick missed the goal by a mile. Leitões enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 75 percent of possession.

Tirsense's top performer was clearly L. Castro. A. Cruz on the other hand, had a terrible day. Leitões's best player was S. Trejos. G. Peloux was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
