Kals saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Kals had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. After 13 minutes of play, D. Riley gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. D. Mulder came close to levelling the score 25 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. 29 minutes into the game Villains's S. Vidrnák found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 1 - 1. F. Scotta of Villains was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Kals had a chance to take the lead after M. Flachsbinder's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 41 minutes. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Villains enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Villains's O. Sathi after 65 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 1 - 2 lead. The crowd chanted their encouragement as Kals's H. O'Connor came in from the right after 68 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 2 - 2. The home side put themselves ahead 3 - 2 after 75 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from B. Hawker, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. The crowd was silenced 82 minutes into the match as the visiting team's M. Torsson came in from the left, levelling the score to 3 - 3. 84 minutes into the game, M. Torsson almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Possession in this half belonged to Villains, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Kals's best player was B. Hawker. On the other hand, E. Kepert's play was disheartening. Villains's top performer was clearly S. Vidrnák. However, S. Arries made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 3.
