previous 7/10 next 9/10  OSAKA-NO1 6 - 1 Leopardo (371471989)

Clear skies welcomed the 28306 spectators who had made their way to OSAKA Arena. Emil Ulfsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Emmanuel Garnier and Radislav Ťapák. OSAKA-NO1 started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Alink - Špilár, 土井 (Doi) - 柴田 (Shibata), Makioka, Tono, Sano, Nekić - Nakagawa, Diedhiou, Budai.

Leopardo decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players took the field: 藤川 (Fujikawa) - Krzaczek, Boisson, 高橋 (Takahashi) - Largacha, Vlad, Buir, Tillard, 石橋 (Ishibashi) - Toftdal, Casbarro.

Leopardo demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. OSAKA-NO1 created a good opportunity to score 7 minutes into the match when M. Makioka's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. 10 minutes in, Leopardo's R. Tillard received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The player down was K. Tono. The OSAKA-NO1 bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. With 22 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as Y. Nakagawa flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. OSAKA-NO1's Y. Nakagawa increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 24 minutes. After 28 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and 功. 柴田 (Shibata) gave the OSAKA-NO1 supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. OSAKA-NO1 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

After 50 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by M. Makioka might have resulted in another goal for OSAKA-NO1. However, 剛. 藤川 (Fujikawa) made a spectacular save. The Leopardo coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Leopardo manager used a brief break in play after 70 minutes to give the players new directives. After 70 minutes, Leopardo used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. The Leopardo players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. Things were deteriorating for the away team as OSAKA-NO1 scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for M. Diedhiou after 79 minutes. Confident in their lead, OSAKA-NO1's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. N. Vlad of Leopardo seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 4 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by P. Largacha. Y. Nakagawa increased the lead for OSAKA-NO1 to 5 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! At that, Y. Nakagawa was noted down for a hat trick! After 81 minutes, Y. Nakagawa put OSAKA-NO1 ahead 6 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. With 83 minutes played, M. Diedhiou could have brought this one home for OSAKA-NO1 as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Possession in this half belonged to OSAKA-NO1, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

K. Tono performed admirably for OSAKA-NO1. A. Nekić turned in a dismal performance, however. Leopardo's best player was K. Toftdal. On the other hand, 剛. 藤川 (Fujikawa)'s play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 1.
