It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 11738 that came out to SoOn93 Arena. Alejandro Espadañero was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Manuel Beja and Felix Jansson. Cry "havoc" and let loose the dogs of war! Exiles93 will go to battle in a 4-4-2 formation. Starters: Putra - Ze Yao, Walid, Osterman, Feng Han - Wadihan Hanafi, Mohd Syamsuddin, Mohd Irzani, Iskandar - Syadi, Abd Rahim Jamaluddin.

The head coach flashed hand signals from the sideline and Melaka formed up in a 4-4-2 combination. Let's hope the opposing sideline wasn't filming that. Lineup: bin Tahar - Che-Wei, bin Mustaffa, bin Musa, Nhat - bin Johar, Seng-Hee, Alias, Dhameja - Kong-Phay, bin Ismail.

M. bin Musa enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. Z. Wadihan Hanafi is making an astonishing dash. The fans are chanting his name. You can hear it reverberate around the stadium. Now a manic sprint up the middle and into the box. Oh! He's thrown open the door! He's thrown open the door, shot the ball through, and slammed the door shut on Mr. Tumnus! Exiles93 has taken the lead 17 minutes into the match, 1 to 0. There'll be no Turkish Delight after the match for the keeper! A. bin Ismail was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Melaka's M. bin Mustaffa managed to get ahold of the rebound and scored to make it 1 - 1. 30 minutes into the game, M. Mohd Irzani had to leave the field due to a knee injury. In came N. Abbas. Exiles93 broke through on the left after 39 minutes, with K. Syadi firing at an impossible angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. A goal seemed certain after 40 minutes when A. Dhameja came down the left wing, but J. Putra just managed to make a save and preserve the home team's lead. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Exiles93 set the tempo, maintaining 54 percent of possession.

A. bin Ismail's speed was almost enough to give Melaka a goal after 64 minutes, but his nice pass to P. Kong-Phay was not taken care of properly. Things were going from bad to worse for the visitors. L. Feng Han was able to squirm through the central defense after 67 minutes and score, bringing the lead to 3 - 1. A. bin Ismail wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Exiles93's M. Abd Rahim Jamaluddin bringing the lead up to 4 - 1. M. Abd Rahim Jamaluddin gave Exiles93 supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 1 after 74 minutes, following a good exchange of passes on the right that the away team failed to deal with. After this, you could see that Exiles93's players were mostly interested in killing time and holding on to their lead. Exiles93 were doing a good job holding on to the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

The most outstanding Exiles93 player was without a doubt M. Abd Rahim Jamaluddin. I can't remember N. Abbas ever having a worse night than he just had. S. Seng-Hee performed admirably for Melaka. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by A. Dhameja today. The match ends 5 - 1.
