Changezi was unable to convert from short range. S. Rahim's lightning pace was too much for Y. Rahi who could only look on as the Karachi player blasted one home. 2 - 0. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Karachi, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

W. Wilde was called on to replace united101's A. Johnson after 53 minutes following a nasty collision. A. Baig received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 54 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. S. Ayub squirmed through their central defence after 62 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. After 62 minutes, the Karachi players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. The Karachi players could smell victory in the air. S. Rahim wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for J. Farooq after 62 minutes. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave S. Ayub from Karachi a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 68 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A. Sagües could've grabbed a goal for united101 81 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. As N. Omar had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the united101 player a red card without batting an eyelid. Karachi had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

Karachi's top performer was clearly M. Tanasijević. However, S. Ayub made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating united101 player was without a doubt R. Wermeille. W. Wilde on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 0.
