Scousers were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. dzordzia immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents. T. Grundherr was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by G. Arcudi, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. Scousers took the lead 12 minutes in, as P. Uszok broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. Scousers's C. Bouvrot had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 16 minutes having been played. P. Churas was the replacement. A. Napoleão increased the lead for Scousers to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Given a free kick close to the byline, Scousers tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let A. Napoleão slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 3 - 0, 34 minutes into the game. dzordzia's G. Consonni got himself booked for a foul. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Scousers, with 64 percent of the ball.

The pressing tactics used by dzordzia were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. The crowd roared its approval when F. Osadnik somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by dzordzia's D. Davies 58 minutes into the game. G. Consonni could've grabbed a goal for dzordzia 64 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. After 73 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and F. Kuschevatzky gave the Scousers supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Scousers lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Cheers filled the stadium as P. Churas broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 0 to Scousers. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, dzordzia's G. Consonni was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 75 minutes. J. van Laer was given a chance to change things around. Scousers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

The most dominating Scousers player was without a doubt P. Uszok. F. Osadnik was a disappointment, however. dzordzia's best player was M. Bouteille. S. Uskoković turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
