Scuffy 0 - 10 Kalisza (371949671)

Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 7814 to Scuffy Arena. Vincenzo D'Antoni was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Michiel Gravy and Simon Gullius. Scuffy had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation. They fielded: Liekfeldt - Pelc, Wartalski, Abgarowicz, Balcerowski - Galiński, Rogóż, Dutkiewicz, Gruda, Zastocki - Szymkowiak.

Kalisza started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Elgert - Miekęcki, Geantă, Pecriaux - Gil, Velázquez Ibero, Giubergia, Lachira, Kivijärvi - Lantink, Ben-Yossef.

G. Geantă sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from A. Ben-Yossef after 8 minutes of play, making the score 0 - 1. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 30 minutes, Kalisza did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, J. Velázquez Ibero was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 2. The players of Kalisza now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. R. Lantink was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a Kalisza counterattack from the left after 35 minutes. His neat finish made the score 0 - 3. After 40 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave E. Giubergia a chance to increase the lead for Kalisza, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. Kalisza increased their lead after 42 minutes when A. Ben-Yossef broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. Scuffy's J. Dutkiewicz refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 43 minutes. After 43 minutes of game time, R. Lantink had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but K. Liekfeldt was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. The home crowd was not impressed when H. Gil came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 44 minutes. Kalisza were now up 0 - 6. It was 0 - 6 at the break. Kalisza enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

After 49 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for H. Gil who increased Kalisza's lead to 0 - 7. The home keeper was stunned 51 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by A. Ben-Yossef and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 8. G. Miekęcki increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 9. After 68 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed J. Velázquez Ibero to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 10. Kalisza claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

Scuffy's top performer was clearly A. Szymkowiak. On the other hand, K. Pelc's play was disheartening. The most dominating Kalisza player was without a doubt R. Lantink. J. Velázquez Ibero turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 10.
