Sawczuk couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing H. Küppenbender to come in off the bench. 16 minutes into the game, D-G-Tal seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. With 21 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, E. Taras needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. Cheers filled the stadium as K. Ciarciński broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Szpaned. The pressing tactics used by Szpaned were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. Szpaned's P. Kipigroch had an excellent opportunity after 36 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Szpaned had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

The D-G-Tal players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a passable organisation when the game started again. M. Alves unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. The referee showed Szpaned's J. Saarenvirta the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 68 minutes into the game, D-G-Tal had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. After 69 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and D. Perš gave the Szpaned supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Szpaned lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. D-G-Tal's T. Raczkiewicz left the field after 73 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was T. Walerczak. 75 minutes into the game, D-G-Tal seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to weak. 87 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as P. Kipigroch broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Szpaned. Szpaned's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. Szpaned enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 76 percent of possession.

Szpaned's best player was K. Ciarciński. On the other hand, P. Kipigroch's play was disheartening. The most dominating D-G-Tal player was without a doubt T. Parchimowicz. H. Küppenbender was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
