Permanentni 2 - 3 Coca (372331359)

Dark skies made the crowd of 9887 at Permanentni gnebicie Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Włodzimierz Stasiłowicz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Paulo Bandeirinha and Alpo Kekola. Permanentni had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Szczygieł - Góra, Bolda, Brejnakowski, Bierut - Sibiga, Berkowski, Pilarski, Głowacki - Staszak, Pogłodziński.

A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Coca. Lineup: Matyjak - Rysiewicz, Leszczyna, Pierog, Toczko - Fiebig, Sobejko, Hlebowicz, Uliasz - Przystański, Poźniak.

Permanentni's D. Bolda tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. After 15 minutes, Permanentni sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached D. Brejnakowski, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 0. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave L. Leszczyna from Coca a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 18 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A really bad tackle inside the penalty area 25 minutes into the match gave the referee no other choice but to award the visiting Coca a penalty. J. Rysiewicz knocked it home. 1 - 1 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Coca enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

P. Staszak's lightning pace was too much for L. Leszczyna who could only look on as the Permanentni player blasted one home. 2 - 1. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, G. Głowacki got himself booked. The manager of Permanentni was not happy. B. Berkowski could have increased the lead after 69 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Coca's S. Uliasz was shown a yellow card after 72 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Coca's L. Leszczyna had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 75 minutes having been played. L. Schabowski was the replacement. The visitors refused to give in and, after 76 minutes, L. Schabowski evened things up as he finished off a perfect pass from the right. 2 - 2 After 82 minutes, Coca put themselves up 2 - 3, as J. Toczko finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. W. Sobejko could have put his team up another goal 87 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Coca, with 53 percent of the ball.

P. Staszak performed admirably for Permanentni. S. Pogłodziński on the other hand, had a terrible day. Coca's best player was A. Hlebowicz. W. Matyjak was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
