ÖrebroSK 2 - 2 Gôteborg (372570308)

25284 punters turned up at Eyravallen, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Siel de la Serna was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ramón Cayon and Yoel Álvarez. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for ÖrebroSK. Starters: Andersson - Torlund, Ehnmo, Josefsson - Enggren, Strömberg, Nilsson, Utterstedt, Falkenblom - Stridin, Dzieniszewski.

Gôteborg decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Franceschetti - Burgos, Lazzara, Arbeláez - Frančišković, Fjällind, Malm, Taillandier, 木下 (Kinoshita) - Brand, Geestemünd.

J. Arbeláez came close to putting the visiting team one up 17 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but H. Andersson managed to tip the ball to a corner. After 30 minutes, ÖrebroSK raised their score by one when D. Falkenblom's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by O. Dzieniszewski. 1 - 0. A really bad tackle inside the penalty area 31 minutes into the match gave the referee no other choice but to award the visiting Gôteborg a penalty. O. Malm knocked it home. 1 - 1 ÖrebroSK's O. Dzieniszewski was shown a yellow card after 39 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Gôteborg enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

H. Andersson looked great 63 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' O. Frančišković. ÖrebroSK broke through on the left 64 minutes into the game, with O. Dzieniszewski firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. M. Enggren of ÖrebroSK was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The visitors were awarded a penalty by the referee 68 minutes into the match, much to the anger of the home crowd. O. Malm took advantage of the situation and scored to make it 2 - 2. Gôteborg had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 79 minutes in when O. Malm came up alone against H. Andersson who managed a block. Gôteborg had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

The most dominating ÖrebroSK player was without a doubt O. Dzieniszewski. However, R. Utterstedt made a disastrous appearance. Most important Gôteborg player was H. Fjällind. 敏. 木下 (Kinoshita) was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 2.
