Dyrstedt, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. After 43 minutes, A. Kärrling put Gripenbärgs ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. 3 - 1 was the halftime score. Gripenbärgs claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 48 minutes, Gripenbärgs did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, B. Rolfsson was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 4 - 1. Gripenbärgs's M. Kärrling received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. linds were forced into a substitution as J. Forslind couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing A. Forsquist to come in off the bench. J. Dyrstedt unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Gripenbärgs increased the lead as M.
