It had rained all day, but 37551 hardy fans still made it out to Apollo's Tempel. Tobías Cabrera was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Palle Bank-Nielsen and Clarence Katadreuffe. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Apollo. It was an obvious ambition of T-bag to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. M. Lalatović had to be alert to tip P. Valkay's fantastic penalty kick over the bar, denying Apollo a chance at the lead. With 23 minutes played, Apollo's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to H. Lülsdorff he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 0. The score became 2 - 0 at 28 minutes into the game, when Apollo were given a penalty which P. Valkay blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! Coming in on the left, M. Malecha did everything right to get a goal for T-bag after 30 minutes, but his finishing shot was stabbed clear by the keeper. After 32 minutes, P. Valkay put Apollo ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. T-bag enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

S. Oberfeldt sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from D. Willame after 52 minutes of play, making the score 3 - 1. Apollo put themselves up 4 - 1 when S. Cortesão broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. After this, you could see that the players of Apollo were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 55 minutes into the match, the technically gifted D. Flodtorp of Apollo scored 5 - 1, having made E. Hermano look like a complete fool. Apollo put in a good effort on the right, but P. Valkay saw his volley fly wide of the mark 70 minutes into the game. 80 minutes into the match P. Valkay put Apollo ahead 6 - 1 with a truly marvelous free kick. At that, P. Valkay was noted down for a hat trick! 85 minutes into the game, Apollo were awarded a penalty that P. Valkay turned into 7 - 1 without a problem. T-bag had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Apollo's best player was D. Flodtorp. P. Valkay turned in a dismal performance, however. T-bag's top performer was clearly I. Yonev. On the other hand, H. Blonde's play was disheartening. The match ends 7 - 1.
