FCToon demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. berg displayed their ability to play creatively. 5 minutes into the match berg's D. Sarioglou couldn't take advantage of the penalty kick to put his team up by a goal. FCToon broke through on the left 12 minutes into the game, with S. Gómez de Alba firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. A cross coming in on the right hand side left J. Hizette alone in front of the goal after 19 minutes but his shot was woeful. FCToon put themselves up 2 - 0 when C. Hontelé broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. By now, the players in FCToon felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by berg, with 57 percent of the ball.

V. Li Causi of berg seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by D. Sarioglou. berg had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 69 minutes, but L. Windels's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. C. Hontelé of FCToon received a yellow card after 77 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With 81 minutes played, L. Windels came in from the right and could have evened the score, but the defenders successfully repelled the attack by berg. berg enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

D. Vilcot performed admirably for FCToon. A. Brandenburg turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important berg player was M. Zbroja. V. Li Causi on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 1.
