2U2 2 - 3 REAKTOR (373882056)

Dark skies made the crowd of 42679 at Beautiful Day Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Arve Bakke was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Joel Honkasaari and Per Stjerning. 2U2 decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Rósa - Bleys, Dyrberg, Rosentreter - Holmlund, Cazet, Blanvillain, Dalsgaard, Jonasson - Hviid, Bosque.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for REAKTOR. They fielded: Zarbo - Chiodini, Kolly, Kamperis - Castaldo, Meisner, Møller Nielsen, Bendt, Ospina - Casoni, Kaasinen.

Given a free kick in a difficult position after 8 minutes, 2U2 tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. REAKTOR's T. Kamperis had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 11 minutes having been played. J. Baggesen was the replacement. 2U2 took the lead after 23 minutes as a result of T. Blanvillain's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. 2U2 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

After 66 minutes, REAKTOR sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached M. Casoni, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 1. S. Castaldo sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from B. Kolly after 69 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 2. Due to some great work on the right wing 2U2's U. Cazet was able to even the score after 71 minutes to make the score 2 - 2. After 71 minutes, the REAKTOR coach had a quick word about the tactical set-up and decided to try another approach. The coach of REAKTOR wanted to try to change things around after 75 minutes, and gave new tactical instructions. REAKTOR's L. Kaasinen gave the visitors a 2 - 3 lead after 79 minutes with a superb strike from the right. 2U2 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Most important 2U2 player was D. Bosque. However, B. Bleys made a disastrous appearance. REAKTOR's top performer was clearly M. Casoni. On the other hand, J. Baggesen's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 3.
