(373882108)

04-03-2012 16.00
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Teutoburgerskoven saw a crowd turnout of 55368.
Sergiusz Krasoń was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Harold Boost and
Meriç Çömlekçi.
Havana had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Volden - 鼎祥 (Dingxiang), Sánchez, Creţu - Junod, Lang-Nielsen, Amdi Nielsen, Baunsbøl, Magasi - Wittezaele, Volckaert.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for GrønneStjerner.
Starters: Petersen - Bars, Zygmunt, Poelchau - Ardatazzi, Madrón, Kjeldahl, Amby, Vladimirov - Billerbäck, Ovalle.
The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when
T. Amby was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 6 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead!
The referee showed GrønneStjerner's
C. Madrón the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
S. Sánchez, but the Havana player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0!
U. Lang-Nielsen had a fantastic opportunity to put Havana up another goal 17 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
The visiting team's
N. Poelchau was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 33 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right.
1 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.
With the clock showing 49 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of GrønneStjerner resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by
R. Ovalle in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high.
Havana had a good opportunity to take the lead as
M. Creţu came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of
T. Petersen.
J. Volckaert's lightning pace was too much for
P. Zygmunt who could only look on as the Havana player blasted one home. 2 - 1.
The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 81 minutes,
C. Madrón broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper.
T. Volden made a great block, though.
The crowd was silenced 84 minutes into the match as the visiting team's
E. Ardatazzi came in from the left, levelling the score to 2 - 2.
A. Wittezaele of Havana received a yellow card after 87 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
GrønneStjerner had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.
The most dominating Havana player was without a doubt
J. Volckaert.
M. Baunsbøl was a disappointment, however.
GrønneStjerner's best player was
M. Billerbäck.
N. Poelchau on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 2 - 2.
