Knights claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

After 48 minutes, the defensive line of Hansens created a counterattack through the middle that gave M. Syvälä a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 59 minutes in, Knights's P. Freire received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. M. Syvälä of Hansens had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. C. Bon Nielsen came in to finish the match. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Knights, with 55 percent of the ball.

Knights's best player was K. Haren. E. Palmarini was a disappointment, however. M. Rocca performed admirably for Hansens. On the other hand, C. Bon Nielsen's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 2.
