Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 12000 at
undertaker today.
Heinz Hitz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
João Albergaria and
Veli Änkilä.
Everyone was excited about the upcoming
København derby and the crowd was divided evenly.
zissdk had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Mariano - Miś, Pylvänäinen, Haumaier - Andrés, Rubio Paz, Vreeburg, Maters, Höller - van Vreeswijk, Angerer.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Leander.
They fielded: Steirer - Edens, Povolo, Holland - Klausen, Miltner, Robledal, Aarsleff, Sorel - Rosés, Coser.
Leander showed off their creative tactics.
Leander had to make a substitution after 12 minutes.
G. Edens limped off the field and was replaced by
H. Grubbe.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
J. Rosés took over the role of being the Leander captain.
Leander's
J. Rosés got himself booked for a foul.
zissdk were forced into a substitution as
C. Andrés couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing
F. Hameleers to come in off the bench.
This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when
J. Rosés slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against
L. Mariano, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes.
Leander's
E. Coser was shown a yellow card after 35 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
After 38 minutes, Leander's
J. Rosés made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1.
M. Sorel came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
L. Mariano but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
Halftime score was 0 - 1.
Leander enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
J. Rosés wanted to play on, but the Leander coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by
F. Valbjørn.
L. Robledal became the new Leander captain.
A drive down the left side allowed
M. Sorel to get in close and score another goal for Leander after 63 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2.
After 64 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
H. Grubbe who increased Leander's lead to 0 - 3.
By now, the players in Leander felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
The bench was restless, and with 65 minutes passed zissdk's coach gave
K. Bečalis the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
E. van Vreeswijk reluctantly left the field.
The coach of Leander was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 70 minutes,
B. Langagergaard came on for
G. Aarsleff.
79 minutes into the game, Leander worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch.
Leander had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.
zissdk's top performer was clearly
J. Rubio Paz.
On the other hand,
F. Hameleers's play was disheartening.
Most important Leander player was
L. Robledal.
H. Grubbe turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 0 - 3.
