A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Jàgermeister. The following players had been chosen: Langelund - Salman, Hesselbjerg, Hvalsøe Schou, Loebbeke - Ladefoged, Grove, Justsen, Lomholt - Wilke, Jørgensen.

The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to T. Randers, but the AGF. player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! B. Sørensen unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. C. Therkelsen increased the lead for AGF. to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! AGF. put themselves up 3 - 0 when S. Sheikh broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. U. Skovfoged could have put AGF. up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 33 minutes. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to AGF., who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.

Things were deteriorating for the away team as AGF. scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for L. Rødkjær after 55 minutes. Confident in their lead, AGF.'s players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. AGF. managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when U. Skovfoged cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. AGF. put in a good effort on the right, but T. Randers saw his volley fly wide of the mark 66 minutes into the game. Jàgermeister's J. Lomholt was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - M. Wilke managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 5 - 1 after 72 minutes. Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile M. Jørgensen. AGF. enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

AGF.'s best player was L. Rødkjær. F. Michaelsen on the other hand, had a terrible day. M. Wilke performed admirably for Jàgermeister. J. Justsen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 1.
