The wings were the focus of most of Tubarões's attacks today. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 7 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from G. Pinheiro Fernandes, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Y. Goldberg had a fantastic opportunity to put BSL up another goal 8 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. BSL managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when D. Contramestre cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of BSL lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 23 minutes, BSL did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, H. Armínio was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 3 - 0. The referee showed BSL's L. Alves Pinho the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 28 minutes into the game, C. Majoch had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came L. Srnský. Cheers filled the stadium as E. Adão broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to BSL. With 33 minutes played, L. Carvalhos of Tubarões fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by BSL, with 65 percent of the ball.

Still trailing on the score board, Tubarões adjusted their tactics after 46 minutes. H. Azevedo had a quick chat at the side line, then switched positions with K. Calmar. The Tubarões coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. 56 minutes in, BSL's H. Armínio received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Tubarões were forced into a substitution as K. Calmar couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing A. Rodrigues Bento to come in off the bench. Tubarões needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 59 minutes C. Lemoine made way for J. Seixas. The visitors got one back when L. Srnský finished off a pass from the left and scored after 74 minutes. 4 - 1 was the score. E. Adão could have put BSL up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 78 minutes. BSL had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

The most dominating BSL player was without a doubt H. Armínio. However, D. Contramestre made a disastrous appearance. Most important Tubarões player was A. Thum. L. Srnský was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
