PBeddoeFC mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. superbees used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. PBeddoeFC were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. J. Ortiz caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 22 minutes. This gave PBeddoeFC the 1 - 0 lead. 26 minutes into the match, superbees's T. Pelli demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to P. Hansson who chipped it in for 1 - 1. superbees's goal to make the score 1 - 2 came via a questionable penalty, but J. Conraads struck it home without a second thought. PBeddoeFC put pressure on the visitors' central defence 33 minutes into the game, but D. Codraro couldn't find an opening. With 36 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of superbees resulted in a counterattack that set J. Conraads free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. E. Cicogna was, after 38 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper A. Paeglis made the save. After 40 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed T. Pelli to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 3. 1 - 3 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by superbees, with 51 percent of the ball.

After 80 minutes superbees's J. Conraads limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. W. Wright of superbees was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 83 minutes into the match, T. Pelli came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. superbees had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.
