Clouds darkened the skies at Clyde Park as 25307 spectators turned up for the match. Michael Myrquist was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Emil Rosca and Leon Najdek. PBeddoeFC tried to focus their attacks down the middle. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Ju Ju. PBeddoeFC were very close to putting themselves one up after 3 minutes as R. Daniel got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to S. Paul, but the PBeddoeFC player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! A. Tampiza neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to F. Poletin who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of PBeddoeFC to 2 - 0 as S. Paul finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. At this point, it was obvious that the players of PBeddoeFC lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. With 34 minutes played, F. Poletin could have brought this one home for PBeddoeFC as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. It was 2 - 0 at the break. PBeddoeFC enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Ater 48 minutes R. Illesca seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Ju Ju making it 2 - 1. After 60 minutes, Ju Ju switched R. Illesca with E. Wettig, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. With 70 minutes played, A. Tampiza of PBeddoeFC fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. B. Connery tied the game at 2 - 2 after 72 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. A. Turza of Ju Ju was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. After 76 minutes, B. Connery sent the corner kick right to A. Turza who headed it sharply past the keeper. 2 - 3! Ju Ju increased their lead after 78 minutes when O. Leystra broke through on the right, upping the score to 2 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. PBeddoeFC had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

PBeddoeFC's top performer was clearly R. Daniel. D. Unsworth on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Ju Ju player was J. Wyss. D. Hendon turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 4.
