McCarthy came close to extending the lead 12 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but D. Wälde managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Cheers filled the stadium as G. Parker broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Zitarigroda. Confident in their lead, Zitarigroda's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 26 minutes in, shaareetaay appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that shaareetaay had solid organisation. B. Granahan couldn't do anything to stop the technically gifted G. Parker, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. This third goal completed a hattrick for G. Parker.
