The players of Backhanders now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After 88 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for P. Kerridge who increased Backhanders's lead to 0 - 3. With 89 minutes played, B. Kubatovics was very close to reducing the score for TTT with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. After 89 minutes, Backhanders's P. Kerridge burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. At 89 minutes into the game, TTT's Z. Galbavý deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 4. The most dominating TTT player was without a doubt B. Kubatovics. However, C. Clark made a disastrous appearance. V. Balogh performed admirably for Backhanders. On the other hand, A. Sture's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 4.
