After 60 minutes, Mothy switched K. Devereux with P. Dalton, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. M. Adebola had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave T. Tiffen from Mothy a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 64 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! With 68 minutes played, TheLodge put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was F. Soler. Mothy needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 70 minutes L. Moreira made way for S. Roalfe. With 74 minutes played, L. Bergenhenegouwen nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit K. Fogelquist just fine. TheLodge claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

Mothy's top performer was clearly A. Dalton. M. Adebola on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating TheLodge player was without a doubt S. Regis. J. Keltanen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
