Dark skies made the crowd of 7336 at roony zz Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Duncan Mathes was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Pekka Tuorinsuo and Esko Törmä. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for roony. Lineup: Stuart - Raitt, Gordon, King, Slator - Sweeney, Xu, Deane, Langford - Ward, Scott.

nineteen decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Viadana - Rottman, Liberski, Seeberger - Carroll, Samuk, Lopes Vieira, Bretz, Jebb - Goppold, Panico.

nineteen demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. nineteen made it 0 - 1 as T. Goppold got a touch to the floated corner kick and flicked the ball to S. Samuk who whipped a low drive in off the far post. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, J. Lopes Vieira would have put nineteen up another goal 11 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The counterattacks of roony were deadly and 12 minutes into the game, C. Ward received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 1 - 1. A badly positioned defensive formation on a free kick after 30 minutes led to nineteen's G. Jebb giving the visitors the lead 1 - 2. J. Lopes Vieira of nineteen received a yellow card after 31 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 35 minutes into the game, nineteen worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. The nineteen free kick 37 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of S. Samuk, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 3! Unsportsmanlike behaviour by J. Lopes Vieira rendered him his second booking of the match, and nineteen had to finish the game with a reduced squad. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. nineteen had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.

D. Panico received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 70 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 4. The nineteen fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. D. Panico was, after 74 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper M. Stuart made the save. After 81 minutes, nineteen's S. Samuk burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 5. By then S. Samuk had scored three goals - a hat trick! L. Seeberger of nineteen took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 84 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 6. nineteen claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

D. Raitt performed admirably for roony. M. Stuart turned in a dismal performance, however. nineteen's top performer was clearly D. Panico. However, Z. Viadana made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 6.
