Dark skies made the crowd of 40872 at Aaltje Blom-Jeeninga Stadion a little nervous, but the rain held off. Di Carlofelice of Picasso1 seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 2 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by P. Vidas. Beppesboys's D. Roberti lived up to his reputation for finding unexpected ways to get the ball in the net when he sent a nifty little pass over to J. Richart who finished for 1 - 2 with 37 minutes of the match played. After 39 minutes, J. Richart made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 2 - 2. Halftime score was 2 - 2. Beppesboys had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

58 minutes into the match Picasso1's A. Bove head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. R. Hovius of Beppesboys had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. S. Snellius came in to finish the match. After 65 minutes, the Beppesboys coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving D. Roberti off the field. V. Wamelink took his place. Beppesboys's D. Casco was shown a yellow card after 65 minutes for slicing down an opponent. S. Barlow was called on to replace Picasso1's A. Di Carlofelice after 73 minutes following a nasty collision. Beppesboys made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left R. Huijberts completely alone with keeper H. Merkelbach, who made a spectacular block. 81 minutes into the match and the home team took a 3 - 2 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Beppesboys was R. Sedeniussen.
