46155 punters turned up at The Honey Jar, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. José Mira was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kristian Løvelund and Sergio Di Noto. Rulesz decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Abbas - Hyér, Koops, Hunkeler - Jegerings, Desxpro, Aguilar, Adam, Kamp - Habar, Puig.

Picasso1 started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Merkelbach - Paccagnella, Bove, Gennari - Húshovski, Vidas, Di Carlofelice, Ubbink, Mondriaan - de Roo, Duyzend.

A mistake by the home side's central defence after 18 minutes allowed M. de Roo to score for Picasso1. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. L. Koops of Rulesz received a yellow card after 22 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Picasso1 came close to extending their lead as P. Vidas delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 24 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. 29 minutes in, Picasso1's T. Duyzend received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for Rulesz, but H. Jegerings's shot went over the bar. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Picasso1 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Rulesz's P. Aguilar got himself booked for a foul. R. Mondriaan of Picasso1 took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 83 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. After 83 minutes, the Picasso1 players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. The Picasso1 coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 83 minutes into the game. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave O. Hyér from Rulesz a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 84 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 85 minutes, J. Puig had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for Rulesz with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. After 85 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave T. Duyzend a chance to increase the lead for Picasso1, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. Picasso1 had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

J. Puig performed admirably for Rulesz. H. Jegerings turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Picasso1 player was T. Duyzend. R. Mondriaan on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 3.
