Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Charmie's Dolls Arena saw a crowd turnout of 31304. Francisco Pérez was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Luboslav Yaroš and Médéric Boisard. Charmies had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. Lineup: Ryklys - Asper, van Hattum, Frederiksz - Bender, Oiteiro, de Lange, Ørskov - Mauve, van Trier, Mentzer.

Schriekeldinho started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. They fielded: Szarszewski - Lähteenoja, Eden, Jakab, Brändle - Rico, Blasi, Gabirondo, Bielec - Kushevski, Barnøe.

Schriekeldinho's goal to make the score 0 - 1 came via a questionable penalty, but C. Rico struck it home without a second thought. Due to some great work on the right wing Charmies's A. Mentzer was able to even the score after 14 minutes to make the score 1 - 1. D. Bender of Charmies seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by T. Asper. A cross coming in on the right hand side left J. Lähteenoja alone in front of the goal after 24 minutes but his shot was woeful. Schriekeldinho levelled the score after 29 minutes to make it 2 - 2, as S. Barnøe struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. With 32 minutes played, C. Oiteiro of Charmies fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After 35 minutes, the Schriekeldinho coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving W. Bielec off the field. T. Koutecký took his place. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 37 minutes allowed C. Blasi to score for Schriekeldinho. The scoreboard now read 2 - 3. Halftime score was 2 - 3. Charmies had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

J. Lähteenoja came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over B. Ryklys but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Charmies's G. Frederiksz put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 3 - 3 with 66 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. 75 minutes into the match, Schriekeldinho nearly took the lead, as T. Koutecký broke through on the right. B. Ryklys made the save, however. 87 minutes into the match and the home team took a 4 - 3 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Charmies was A. Mentzer. A lot of people in the terraces claimed the penalty resulting in Schriekeldinho's C. Rico equaliser for 4 - 4 was a mistake by the referee. He did, however, have a very good view of the situation from his position. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Charmies, with 55 percent of the ball.

Charmies's top performer was clearly R. de Lange. T. Asper was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Schriekeldinho player was without a doubt S. Barnøe. C. Rico on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 4.
