A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 12000 to Factory Outlet. Maxime Helbert was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Lasse Persson and Leandro Couto. TFF had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Hoppenbrouwer - Wolderling, Stekelenburg, Gardeniers, van der Felz - Ikkersheim, van Hattum, Boogers, Bossers - Bouwens, Heyloo.

Nijntje started off with a 5-4-1 lineup. Starters: Voorn - Pacary, Steffel, Hämmerle, Morgagni, Molenkamp - Dziębowski, Tamlakouten, Kovács, van Scheppingen - Veips.

Nijntje were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Nijntje's M. van Scheppingen gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 2 minutes with a superb strike from the right. The sun seemed to put M. Tamlakouten in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. After 24 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed M. Veips to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. Players in Nijntje heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. With 32 minutes played, Nijntje put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was M. Tamlakouten. After this, you could see that the players of Nijntje were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. TFF's E. Boogers was shown a yellow card after 35 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Nijntje's I. Kovács went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. T. Avenarius was called on to replace TFF's R. Bouwens after 37 minutes following a nasty collision. After 40 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for I. Kovács who increased Nijntje's lead to 0 - 4. D. Steffel of Nijntje was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. B. van Hattum behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 43 minutes as he gave the ball away to M. Tamlakouten. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Nijntje increased their lead after 44 minutes when M. Veips broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 44 minutes, Nijntje's M. van Scheppingen burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. 0 - 6 was the halftime score. Nijntje claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 77 percent.

With 47 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed I. Kovács of Nijntje to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 7. A drive down the left side allowed M. van Scheppingen to get in close and score another goal for Nijntje after 67 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 8. At that, M. van Scheppingen was noted down for a hat trick! Some fine movement on the left led to a Nijntje goal after 69 minutes, making it 0 - 9. P. Hämmerle was noted down as the scorer. 73 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 10 as M. Morgagni finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Nijntje, with 79 percent of the ball.

TFF's top performer was clearly J. Bossers. A. Gardeniers turned in a dismal performance, however. M. Tamlakouten performed admirably for Nijntje. D. Steffel was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 10.
