The 7769 fans in attendance at FC Timo04 Arena were roasting in the hot sun. Jan Søreng was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Benjamin Hagen and Manuel Ringhio. Timo04 tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Bot - Oosterveld, Gravenstein, Leeman, Linschoten - Mitrović, Zobel, Baumans, van Toor - Hetharia, Coenegracht.

DReaMZZz had chosen a strategic 4-3-2 formation. Lineup: Rautkoski - Hofmeijer, Nissten, Aalbrecht, Leeuwen - Stadhouders, van der Staay, Onderwater - Proveniers, Linhart.

S. Oosterveld enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. R. Bes was called on to replace Timo04's J. Linschoten after 31 minutes following a nasty collision. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of DReaMZZz's N. Proveniers after 34 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 38 minutes into the match, an alert D. van Toor bagged the ball for Timo04, levelling the score to 1 - 1. 42 minutes into the match, the technically gifted D. van Toor of Timo04 scored 2 - 1, having made M. van der Staay look like a complete fool. 43 minutes into the game, DReaMZZz had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Timo04 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

The DReaMZZz players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. Z. Coenegracht increased the lead for Timo04 to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! With 52 minutes of the game having been played, W. Stadhouders received a blow to the hip in a collision and was unable to continue. DReaMZZz, with no available replacements, now faced the prospect of finishing the game with a reduced number of players. 57 minutes into the game, DReaMZZz seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a poor level of organisation. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Timo04 to 4 - 1 as P. Hetharia finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. By now, the players in Timo04 felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. M. Zobel had a fantastic opportunity to put Timo04 up another goal 80 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Z. Coenegracht should probably have put his team up another goal after 89 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by P. Rautkoski kept the visitors in the game. Timo04 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 74 percent.

Z. Coenegracht performed admirably for Timo04. S. Oosterveld turned in a dismal performance, however. DReaMZZz's top performer was clearly N. Proveniers. J. Nissten was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
