Miketa. 18 minutes into the game, N. Jakobsen was a hair's breadth away from giving Josefinos the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by S. Söderberg saved the home team that time. Redondosss fans held their breath as K. Roeting scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Redondosss, with 52 percent of the ball.

Josefinos were close to putting the equaliser away after 47 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to C. Pérez in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. Josefinos's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. F. Uzma should probably have put his team up another goal after 63 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by A. Chojnacki kept the visitors in the game. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave P. Sharin from Redondosss a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 77 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 79 minutes, Redondosss raised their score by one when T. Rattín's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by T. Hanhikoski. 2 - 0. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 81 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but A. Chojnacki got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. Redondosss had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

Redondosss's best player was T. Hanhikoski. Y. Menachem turned in a dismal performance, however. I. Ezquerra performed admirably for Josefinos. However, N. Jakobsen made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 0.
