Gawęda put Sportivo ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. It was 3 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sportivo, with 54 percent of the ball.

The visitors got one back when T. Lõiv finished off a pass from the left and scored after 47 minutes. 3 - 2 was the score. M. Solís Zuleta was called on to replace Sportivo's P. Gawęda after 58 minutes following a nasty collision. 64 minutes into the game Amunche's F. Kristoffersen found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 3 - 3. The counterattacks of Sportivo were deadly and 69 minutes into the game, J. Caino received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 4 - 3. With 70 minutes played, the Amunche coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. J. Omelich came on, E. Hauge had to leave the fray. Amunche's J. Omelich was shown a yellow card after 80 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Sportivo increased the lead as J. Gomes Nogueira struck to make the score 5 - 3 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Amunche kept trying to force their way through on the right side and F. Kristoffersen got his chance after 84 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack.
