A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 11150 to El Bocha. Rickard Pålsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Giovanni Turra and Horacio Etchegoyen. Today, Aguantala's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. 19 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Aguantala was A. Di Zeo. Aguantala had to make a substitution after 22 minutes. M. Balaguer limped off the field and was replaced by A. Aristegui. Players in Aguantala heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. K. Defferrari was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - N. Noguera managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 4 - 0 after 37 minutes. M. Defferrari had a fantastic opportunity to put Aguantala up another goal 40 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as N. Noguera broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Aguantala. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Aguantala lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. M. Soligon of Anchorena was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 5 - 0 was the score after the first half. Aguantala enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 82 percent of possession.

It was obvious that Aguantala had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Aguantala to 6 - 0 as D. Terán finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Defferrari from Aguantala a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 62 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Aguantala's M. Defferrari had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 64 minutes having been played. M. Petruchelli was the replacement. Aguantala increased the lead as N. Noguera struck to make the score 7 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. By then N. Noguera had scored three goals - a hat trick! Aguantala solidified their lead at the 74 minute mark, as N. Noguera dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 8 - 0. The heat made it a terrible day for J. Mourullo, who seemed unable to keep up with the other players. After 76 minutes, M. Petruchelli put Aguantala ahead 9 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The referee showed Aguantala's G. Palla the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A. Di Zeo could have increased the lead after 83 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Possession in this half belonged to Aguantala, who controlled the ball 83 percent of the time.

Aguantala's top performer was clearly N. Noguera. A. Leblanc turned in a dismal performance, however. Anchorena's best player was A. Lopez. On the other hand, A. Samonov's play was disheartening. The match ends 9 - 0.
