Quedis mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Sichupanboys were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Quedis players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. B. Kötzing caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 9 minutes. This gave Quedis the 1 - 0 lead. Sichupanboys's right side looked dangerous 12 minutes in, but I. Ribeiro made a good save on O. Frosta's hard shot to the top corner. With 16 minutes played, Quedis put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to A. M'Boup, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Quedis to 3 - 0 as D. Fenieux finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sichupanboys, with 51 percent of the ball.

61 minutes into the match, the speedy J. Cardenas easily outpaced J. Tocantins, chipped the keeper and made the score 4 - 0. A bit later, Sichupanboys's S. Voinea easily reduced the lead to 4 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. Ater 80 minutes J. Tocantins seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Sichupanboys making it 4 - 2. Sichupanboys managed to reduce the score to 4 - 3 as Q. Alinco finished off a well-played combination from the left, easily carving through the defence. 83 minutes into the game Sichupanboys's O. Frosta found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 4 - 4. It was obvious that team Quedis had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. After a fine move down the middle B. Kötzing nearly gave the home side a goal after 87 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. A. Machuca of Sichupanboys received a yellow card after 87 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Sichupanboys enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Most important Quedis player was B. Kötzing. F. Lavín was a disappointment, however. Sichupanboys's best player was Q. Alinco. However, A. Machuca made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 4.
