The 12000 spectators at
Konami Stadium were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Jared Spain was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Meinte Hamster and
Mirco Röhrmoos.
Superstar tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Santos - Dabelsteen, Nanico, Rakuzy - Alon, Müller, Temnitschka, de Castro, Mezenga - Hadzhistoyanov, Izu.
Transcend started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.

The wings were the focus of most of Superstar's attacks today.
After 10 minutes,
L. Nanico came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Superstar the lead.
Superstar's
A. Rakuzy left the field after 18 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
D. Pollard.
Superstar's
L. Müller increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 21 minutes.
The score became 3 - 0 at 26 minutes into the game, when Superstar were given a penalty which
M. Alon blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance!
M. Alon increased the lead for Superstar to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
Confident in their lead, Superstar's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile
N. Dias Xavier.
G. Hadzhistoyanov could have increased the lead after 37 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
T. Dabelsteen of Superstar received a yellow card after 38 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0.
Superstar had most of the ball, with 81 percent of possession.

Superstar increased the lead as
M. Alon struck to make the score 6 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
Usually a powerful player on the field,
R. Izu looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun.
M. Alon increased Superstar's lead to 7 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball.
The intense heat forced
L. Mezenga into making some errors because he couldn't seem to keep up with the others.
Superstar were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 88 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by
M. Alon. 8 - 0 for the home side.

C. de Castro.
However,
E. Santos made a disastrous appearance.

The match ends 8 - 0.
