Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Paul Mccartney saw a crowd turnout of 42630.
Ahamed Salman was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Daniel Mohn and
Bruno Taxis.
Stewie had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Abadie - Mendez Nuñez, Fasola, Del Huerto, Moreno - De Los Santos, Caprario, Veróquino, Costemalle - Dall Urso, Vilalva.
GIRLS started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
They fielded: Priario - Hernández, Mujica, Pluto, Rotti - Lugones, Venerdi, Oblongo, Santander - Gómez, Sotelo.
11 minutes in, the referee awarded Stewie a penalty.
G. Mendez Nuñez coolly slotted it home for a 1 - 0 lead.
G. Mendez Nuñez struck a 30 metre free kick home 33 minutes into the match. 2 - 0 for the home team.
After 37 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
P. Moreno gave the Stewie supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Stewie lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
Stewie's
M. Veróquino increased the lead to 4 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 41 minutes.
After 43 minutes,
N. Dall Urso put Stewie ahead 5 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
5 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Stewie claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 80 percent.
Stewie put themselves up 6 - 0 when
J. Vilalva broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Stewie's
T. Costemalle somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for
N. Dall Urso, who struck for 7 - 0.
Stewie's
T. Fasola saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 74 minutes.
75 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
J. Vilalva broke through, making the score 8 - 0 for Stewie.
GIRLS's right side looked dangerous after 80 minutes, as
C. Gómez broke through.
H. Abadie continued to stifle them, however, as he made the save look easy.
With 83 minutes played,
M. Caprario of Stewie fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
T. Costemalle squirmed through their central defence after 84 minutes, increasing the lead to 9 - 0.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 85 minute mark, Stewie's
T. Fasola hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
T. Fasola increased the lead for Stewie to 10 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
Possession in this half belonged to Stewie, who controlled the ball 83 percent of the time.
The most dominating Stewie player was without a doubt
J. Vilalva.
H. Abadie on the other hand, had a terrible day.
C. Gómez performed admirably for GIRLS.
On the other hand,
E. Priario's play was disheartening.
The match ends 10 - 0.
