Clear skies welcomed the 12000 spectators who had made their way to
Estadio mucha chota.
Felipe Dorigo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mototsugu Kitazawa and
Víctor Alonso.

G. Mascheroni managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 12 minutes. 0 - 1.
Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 15 minutes, FLORIDA did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker,
I. Firpo was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 2.
22 minutes into the match,
D. Gomen came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide.
The visitors almost increased their lead after 30 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar.
A. Gianelli came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
F. Slininger but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
muchachota almost scored after a swift counterattack 32 minutes into the game, but
J. Urrutty put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal.

FLORIDA had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.
65 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as
C. Yoshimoto finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
After 82 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
G. Parra a chance to increase the lead for FLORIDA, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4.
M. Hartman of FLORIDA took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 87 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 5.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of FLORIDA lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
With 89 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
M. Hartman of FLORIDA to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 6.
The referee signalled a penalty 89 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box.
R. Sánchez knocked it home to make the score 0 - 7.
FLORIDA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 73 percent.
J. Urrutty performed admirably for muchachota.
F. Slininger turned in a dismal performance, however.
