Fairfax had chosen a strategic 5-4-1 formation. Lineup: Castellanos - Robertsson, Loewenklau, Balan, Díaz-Perona, Feinbier - Brown, Tedoldi, Monreal, Morrell - Montano.

The wings were the focus of most of Fairfax's attacks today. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to K. Thomas, but the PATS player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! 14 minutes in, Fairfax appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. With 16 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, H. Loewenklau needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. T. Barber could have increased the lead after 31 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. W. Blocker should probably have put his team up another goal after 33 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by R. Castellanos kept the visitors in the game. The referee showed PATS's C. Marvin the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Fairfax, as R. Robertsson left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. C. Sander took his place on the field. PATS increased the lead as W. Blocker struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The players of PATS now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. PATS enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

During the break, Fairfax's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. C. Marvin unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of PATS to 3 - 0 as K. Thomas finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. PATS solidified their lead at the 70 minute mark, as W. Blocker dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. After 80 minutes, PATS's L. Phelps found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 5 - 0. P. Olsen increased the lead for PATS to 6 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! PATS had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

PATS's top performer was clearly P. Olsen. W. Blocker on the other hand, had a terrible day. Fairfax's best player was B. Montano. However, C. Sander made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 6 - 0.
