Tinaquillo 5 - 0 JRGP (376631296)

48144 spectators had come to luis mendoza this cloudy day. Siegfried De Pessemier was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Giorgio Serafino and Guillermo López Soto. Tinaquillo tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Miurrause - Barroeta, Tālzems, Pazos - Ayos, Montiel, Arévalo, Guadarrama, Chaparro - Pinilla, Lundlius.

JRGP decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Lineup: Montoya - Porras, Sheykov, Ledesma - Zink, Pfindel, Ploeger, Aszódi, Rudnickas - Cavanzo, Rodríguez.

JRGP demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. Some great play up the middle by Tinaquillo led to a chance for M. Pinilla to score after 13 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. After a fine move down the middle C. Ayos nearly gave the home side a goal after 31 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. 36 minutes in, JRGP's D. Porras received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, M. Pinilla scored for Tinaquillo putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 39 minutes. After 42 minutes, Tinaquillo sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached C. Ayos, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 0. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Tinaquillo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

B. Lundlius increased Tinaquillo's lead to 3 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. Tinaquillo's M. Pinilla saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 55 minutes. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Tinaquillo to 4 - 0 as B. Lundlius finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. 65 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by B. Lundlius from C. Ayos's cross looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach. Goal for Tinaquillo, making the score 5 - 0. That made three goals for B. Lundlius and he was marked down for the hat trick. The players of Tinaquillo now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. A late sliding challenge from D. Porras was deemed to be his second yellow card offence by the referee, resulting in him being sent off, and JRGP left a man down. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tinaquillo, with 62 percent of the ball.

Tinaquillo's best player was J. Montiel. C. Barroeta was a disappointment, however. A. Cavanzo performed admirably for JRGP. On the other hand, R. Montoya's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 0.
