The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 19362 had shown up at Parco Upton for the match. Mesrob Yezikyan was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Christoph Repe and Vlad Tacu. With 9 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. M. Rutmonas put the ball away for 0 - 1. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Doz coach let K. Ozorowski replace T. Luovi after 9 minutes. The referee showed Doz's K. Milushev the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. K. Milushev was, after 11 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper F. Pasinli made the save. Prosciutto tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. R. Clément received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 41 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Doz fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The Doz players could smell victory in the air. P. Gorla wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for R. Aharonov after 42 minutes. 0 - 2 was the halftime score. Doz claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

A. Francioli came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over F. Pasinli but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Doz's A. Francioli was shown a yellow card after 78 minutes for slicing down an opponent. J. Morena did everything he could to get one back for his Prosciutto, but keeper N. Castro denied him with a spectacular block. A drive down the left side allowed K. Milushev to get in close and score another goal for Doz after 80 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3. The coach of Doz was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 80 minutes, J. van Schuppen came on for N. Castro. By now, the players in Doz felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field 82 minutes into the match. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Prosciutto's J. Morena to one side and produced a red card for the player. When R. Clément was badly injured by a couple of strong tackles after 86 minutes, Doz fans were unhappy to discover that it was not possible to make a substitution. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, J. van Schuppen took over the role of being the Doz captain. Prosciutto's F. Carrara got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 1 - 3. R. Tamanza of Prosciutto received a yellow card after 88 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Prosciutto caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 89 minutes into the match. R. Tamanza was able to finish off the move - 2 - 3. Doz enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

M. Valentini performed admirably for Prosciutto. On the other hand, F. Pasinli's play was disheartening. The most dominating Doz player was without a doubt E. Carhuachuco. R. Aharonov turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
