After this, you could see that the players of Rasensport were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The home crowd was not impressed when G. Kattmann, which resulted in a goal making the score 0 - 5. Mechenov was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 81 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. F. Svensson of Rasensport took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 84 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 9. H. Imgrüth increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 10. By then H. Imgrüth had scored three goals - a hat trick! Rasensport's L. Kiss was shown a yellow card after 87 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The coach of Rasensport was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 89 minutes, A. Babarskas came on for M. Rieffer. The Rasensport players could smell victory in the air. F. Svensson wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for I. Stokx after 89 minutes. F. Soublette wanted to play on, but the Rasensport coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 89 minutes into the game by L. Buk.
