During the break, TJ HL's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. Hattrick-Club put themselves up 2 - 0 when D. Hattrick-Club managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when P. Casanueva cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. S. van Boshuizen had a fantastic opportunity to put Hattrick-Club up another goal 60 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave I. Szula from TJ HL a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 65 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! J. Gabon wanted to play on, but the Hattrick-Club coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 69 minutes into the game by F. Mauvais. D. Fort left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 74 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. J. Mauvais was the replacement.
