For their match strategy, Santa had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. The visiting S. Saltarelli was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 2 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. S. Öncel increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. U. Rosenthal got a fingertip on S. Saltarelli's shot from the left 25 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. G. Bruçi received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 30 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The MoSlow fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The players of MoSlow now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. S. Saltarelli of MoSlow received a yellow card after 32 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by MoSlow, with 68 percent of the ball.

S. Saltarelli left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. P. Zattoni was the replacement. With 54 minutes played, A. Kvarnsjö nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. T. Bolso wanted to play on, but the MoSlow coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 55 minutes into the game by M. Belányi. With the clock showing 55 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Santa resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by H. Hald in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. MoSlow's P. Gassner was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 60 minutes. 66 minutes into the game, MoSlow were awarded a penalty and A. Dostals was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 4 rolling the ball in by the right post. P. Zattoni was, after 67 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper U. Rosenthal made the save. A penalty was missed by MoSlow's A. Dostals 71 minutes into the match. Probably overconfident, he blasted a hard shot miles outside of the left post. MoSlow claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 72 percent.

Santa's best player was H. Hald. U. Rosenthal turned in a dismal performance, however. P. Zattoni performed admirably for MoSlow. M. Belányi was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
