07-03-2012 09.45
The 33326 spectators at
Emirates Aréna were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Harri Schraml was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mitch Campbell and
Dirk Maerivoet.
A 4-3-3 alignment was the formation of choice for FüliFC.
Lineup: Ganapathy - Jiroušek, Mínguez Tahona, Clephas, Könyves - Feilden, Mariano, Salazar - Eldem, Geider, Paulik.
Nagytétény decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Starters: Ferrugem - Uvodić, Tijūnas, Escavias - de Vreese, De Rosa, Galazzi, Lagos, Štěpek - Osorio Rojas, Phúc Tài.
FüliFC seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
R. Könyves's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence.
The visitors were very close to gaining the lead with a marvellous free kick after 18 minutes, but
E. Ganapathy made a beautiful one-handed save.
Nagytétény's
S. Štěpek gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 41 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
After 43 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
S. Štěpek to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2.
Confident in their lead, Nagytétény's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
FüliFC's
E. Ganapathy had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 44 minutes having been played.
M. Vozár was the replacement.
Central attacks were the recipe of the day for FüliFC, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity.
The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as
C. Mariano tried lifting the ball over keeper
J. Ferrugem. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
P. Phúc Tài got himself booked. The manager of Nagytétény was not happy.
The visitors'
P. Phúc Tài took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 44 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for Nagytétény.
0 - 3 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Nagytétény, with 67 percent of the ball.
P. Phúc Tài of Nagytétény took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 70 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4.
After 71 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
P. Phúc Tài a chance to increase the lead for Nagytétény, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 5.
By then
P. Phúc Tài had scored three goals - a hat trick!
With 72 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
P. Phúc Tài of Nagytétény to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 6.
The bench was restless, and with 82 minutes passed FüliFC's coach gave
V. Sándor the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
S. Geider reluctantly left the field.
Nagytétény enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.
The most dominating FüliFC player was without a doubt
J. Mínguez Tahona.
On the other hand,
M. Vozár's play was disheartening.
Nagytétény's top performer was clearly
D. Osorio Rojas.
S. Štěpek was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 0 - 6.
