Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
aldin & aldina saw a crowd turnout of 12005.
Jens Flodtorp was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
David Morillo and
Maik Norris.
Orizare had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
Starters: Jovchevski - Egić , Caka, Ilovski, Petrushevski - Emiri, Sokolov, Beder, Ristoski - Bebekovski, Geramarovski.
Barca decided to use a 3-4-3 set up.
Lineup: Dzochkov - Sibinovski, Moreno, Ivanovski - Labachevski, Ayçetin, Gavrilovski, Rolandsson - Bartholomay, Janeski, Maniscalco.
A mistake by the home side's central defence after 7 minutes allowed
M. Gavrilovski to score for Barca. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1.
S. Ayçetin left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 23 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
E. Mitev was the replacement.
After 26 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
B. Maniscalco a chance to increase the lead for Barca, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2.
By now, the players in Barca felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
The home crowd was not impressed when
B. Maniscalco came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 34 minutes. Barca were now up 0 - 3.
After 36 minutes, Barca's
E. Mitev fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit!
After 37 minutes, Barca's
B. Maniscalco burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
B. Maniscalco.
It was 0 - 4 at the break.
Barca claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.
L. Sibinovski received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 49 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Barca fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
After 52 minutes, Barca's
T. Janeski swiftly ran past
O. Ilovski and nutmegged the keeper! 0 - 6.
After 54 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
T. Janeski who increased Barca's lead to 0 - 7.
A penalty was awarded after 58 minutes, and
B. Maniscalco made the most of his chance to put Barca up by another goal. 0 - 8 for the visitors.
65 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 9 as
B. Maniscalco finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from
D. Rolandsson after 70 minutes, and prevented Barca from going up another goal.
The Barca players could smell victory in the air.
P. Dzochkov wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
R. Kamnikar after 80 minutes.
Barca had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.
R. Bebekovski performed admirably for Orizare.
V. Jovchevski on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Barca's top performer was clearly
R. Kamnikar.
E. Mitev was a disappointment, however.
