A scorching day at PUA Stadium, where 612 spectators were in place for today's match. Axel Gioka was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ulrich Ronacher and Dan Hansson. Star were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. A. Terreri was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by N. Härteis, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. With 11 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as M. Tarachulski flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. R. Rutschek of Star was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Gamblers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

The referee showed Gamblers's G. Rudan the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. F. Błasiński was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Star's C. Mascret had to come off the bench. A. Terreri was suffering from cramp and had difficulty keeping up as the opposition pushed forward. D. Ferrús had no problems getting through and hit home to make the score 1 - 1. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why D. Ferrús found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. Slack defending gave Gamblers a chance to take the lead with 87 minutes played, but N. Senzanonna's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. Gamblers's I. Losapio was shown a yellow card after 88 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Star's P. Argelaguet left the field after 89 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was P. Nasuti. G. Barabaschi became the new Star captain. Possession in this half belonged to Star, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Gamblers's best player was N. Senzanonna. On the other hand, G. Cacciatore's play was disheartening. The most dominating Star player was without a doubt R. Rutschek. R. Ambroż was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
