The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 1013 had shown up at Vendito Cristiano Ro Arena for the match. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for DH. The most controversial moment of the game was likely the penalty given after 12 minutes. DH's O. Delgadillo kept his concentration, despite the upset crowd, and calmly put the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 1. After 15 minutes C. Mastaglio made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to J. Barros who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 1 - 1. Cristiano fans held their breath as J. Moliner scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 2 - 1! DH's L. Montaner got himself booked for a foul. C. Mastaglio should probably have put his team up another goal after 26 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by J. Torres kept the visitors in the game. A. Perales was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from DH's defence 27 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 2 - 2. Cristiano made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left J. Barros completely alone with keeper J. Torres, who made a spectacular block. With 33 minutes gone, DH's L. Montaner had to leave the pitch after talking back to the referee and receiving his second booking. Making his way up the middle 37 minutes into the match, J. Barros almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert J. Torres blocked it to keep the score level. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. Cristiano claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.

After some beautiful movement down the left wing, J. Barros scored for Cristiano putting them ahead 3 - 2, after 53 minutes. Cristiano managed to extend their lead to 4 - 2 when T. Vilar de Barrio cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. With 77 minutes gone, Cristiano had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, L. Önundarson did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Cristiano to 5 - 2 as J. Barros finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. By then J. Barros had scored three goals - a hat trick! Confident in their lead, Cristiano's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 82 minutes into the match A. Guerola put Cristiano ahead 6 - 2 with a truly marvelous free kick. Cristiano had most of the ball, with 70 percent of possession.

The most dominating Cristiano player was without a doubt C. Mastaglio. On the other hand, A. Guerola's play was disheartening. DH's top performer was clearly O. Delgadillo. J. Torres on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 2.
